Has anyone else noticed the recent flip from "You're the Serena to my Blair" to "You're the Gigi to my Kendall"?! This is personally violating. Nothing compares to the iconic blonde/ brunette friendship that is Serena and Blair. NOTHING.
Whatever/ over it (but not).
The Serena to my Blair, my fave person Taylor, took a trip to the Gossip Girl capital of the world/ the place I call home, this past weekend and we did things that made us feel très New York-y; Brunch after 12, spending too much money, and getting hit on by law students/ Ukrainian business men. (Yes, we do realize we aren't actually Blake Lively or Leighton Meester.)
As you can see from the picture, we are actually way too awkward/ picture-taking-challenged to take our selves seriously...#StopWhiteGirls2K15

(Seriously, stop us.)
That brings me to my next point; Is being a #WhiteGirl is such a bad thing?
Nope, it's actually awesome and here's why:
1. When my makeup is "on point", I feel good. Simple.
2. Shopping at Forever 21 not only saves you money but also helps you inexpensively stay on-trend.
3. Owning more shoes than the average person just means you are passionate about footwear.
4. Starbucks actually tastes and looks good. Three words; The Olsen Twins. (Venti soy capp, anyone?)
5. I will not support Uggs as a fashionable choice in shoes, but they are damn comfortable.
6. Everyone has an iPhone.
7. The book, White Girl Problems, by Babe Walker is actually hilarious/ a great read.
8. One of the ultimate #WhiteGirls, Shoshanna, from the HBO series, Girls, shares my brain and I love her.
9. The occasional selfie never hurt anyone.
SO when it comes down to it, being classified under this stereotype really only makes you a typical girly-girl who likes the occasional pumpkin spice latte, not some airhead who can't live without her circle scarves and selfie stick.
XOXO & #Bye,
